A Thought
I think, in all honesty, the moon seems much farther away than it did when I was a child. Perhaps I've just stopped keeping my head in the clouds.

you know, it's funny you bring this up. My friends & I were just talking about how different things seem now that we aren't children anymore, and the moon was one of them :] ♥
Cyrano de Bergerac still lives there though. I'll see if I can't lassoo that old moon for you and drag it into focus a bit more.
Now that you mention it, I really haven't looked up as much as I used to. maybe it comes with age.
I was going to comment that it probably does because as we get older, we learn "facts" about things like the moon and forget the "magic".
But duh.....that was only like your whole effin' point!
